Welcome!
The Marrkens Development Center, Raleigh, North Carolina
The Marrkens Development Center get its source of inspiration from two highly motivated individuals Margaret Rose and Kenneth who forty-five years ago opened their school doors to educate and care for young children.
We are a non-profit 501c3 organization designed to improve the quality and vitality of life for citizens in North Carolina and around the world. The organization is founded by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Margaret Rose Murray. They are also founders of The Vital Link Schools in Southeast and Southwest Raleigh; a radio talk show called Traces of Faces and Places which airs on WSHA Fm 88.9 every Saturday from 9am until noon and the Business to Business Networking magazine.
The Center is an early vision of the Murray's that has finally come to furition. Its their holistic approach to providing Academics, Business and Culturual Enrichment to students and their families. From our past experience teaching home economics; the Center now has interest in teaching Culinary Arts and Entreprenuerial Skills. This will create synergy amongst other human service providers to increase the capacity of children, youth, adults and families for more healthful living.
Through this comprehensive A,B,C system the Center re-invigarates the family structure or circle of life. Which subsequently, transcends into much healthier relationships, stable communities, economic development and the mitigation of social calamities that plague urban environments.
